It is unbelievable! We are after such great holy days of Rosh Hashone and Yom Kippur, and now we are between those holy days and Chag Hasuccos. We are presenting a mamar for Chag Hasuccos, about the great obligation we have to transform the Kateiger- Prosecutor into a Saniger – Advocate. We accomplish this by doing Teshuve Mihavah – out of love to Hashem and not only out of fear, which has a power to turn all sins into Mitzvhos. The great Chidush is that by doing Teshuve Miyirue – out of fear of Hashem, on Rosh Hashone and Yom Kippur, we are just killing the Prosecutor. On the other hand by doing Teshuve Mihavah – out of love to Hashem, we are revving the Prosecutor giving him life by turning him into an Advocate. so it is our responsibility on Succos to bring life to the Kateiger – Prosecutor by transforming him into a Saniger – Advocate. By bringing life to the Kateiger who turns into a Saniger, we are able to transfer our own life into a better and sweeter one!
Friends let us all remember that Succos is “Zman Simchoseinu” – a time of happiness. Happiness is not necessary by spending precious time on trips. It is by spending quality time with the wife and children, listening to their thoughts and sharing your own thoughts in a sweet happy atmosphere. How inspiring is it to sit together in the Sukah every day or night and discuss each day one of the seven “Ushpuzin” guest, Avrohom, Yitzchok, Yaakov, Moshe, Aron, Yosef, Dovid, that come down from heaven to be with us in the Sukah. For example the first day we can talk about Avrohom Ovine and his wife the Mama Sarah, The second day about Yitzchok ovinu and the mama Rivkah etc. etc.
By this occasion I want to take the opportunity to thank all who took their time to acknowledge and answer my wishes for Rosh Hashone and Yom kipur with a broche of their own. I am sure that those who didn’t answer were very busy and didn’t get around to it. So I wish you all a good Yom-Tov and a real “Zman Simchoseinu”.
